Château Briatte is situated in the heart of the Sauternes appellation, just west of Preignac. Sweet white wines from Sauternes are amongst the most renowned in the world, with the region's curious climatic conditions allowing for grapes to reach full maturity.

Cool, misty nights and mornings followed by sunny days have allowed this wine to have a very special “pourriture noble” to form, concentrating the sugars without diminishing acidity, producing wines that are simultaneously sweet and fresh.
