Meursault is one of the Cote d’Or’s finest villages for white wine production and it is rightly celebrated by fine wine consumers. Yet it is the only one of the great three (Chassagne, Puligny, and Meursault) that does not have a Grand Cru within its boundaries.
Eric Boigelot and his wife are a charming couple that make exceptional wines that have been part of our portfolio for quite a number of years now and have always been well regarded by trade and private clients alike.
Today we are offering a small parcel of their 2018 Meursault Le Clous, a village wine of high quality and expressing the perfect character of Meursault with overtones and aromas of hazelnuts and butter above the fine and elegant fruit. This is a wine that will be perfect for all lovers of fine white Burgundy and should grace the greatest of tables.
