Astoria, Medaglia Millesimato Superiore, 2022

Astoria’s Medaglia Millesimato Superiore shows a pale green-tinged yellow hue with a fine, persistent bead. The nose is rich and expressive, full of white peach, melon and delicate spring blossom, while the palate mirrors these ripe, aromatic notes with elegance and poise. Long, harmonious and effortlessly drinkable.

Sourced from Astoria’s hillside vineyards at around 150 metres above sea level, the Glera grapes were hand-harvested in September at peak ripeness before being gently crushed. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel for both primary and secondary stages, with a short lees contact adding subtle weight and complexity to both nose and palate.
