The Hawke’s Bay's is one of New Zealand’s premium winegrowing regions, with first plantings dating back to 1851. It is within this winemaking heaven that Shed 530 is situated, on a small estate within touching distance from the pretty art deco town of Napier.

This red blend hails from the Gimblett Gravels, the soil and climate of which is about as close to Bordeaux as you can get. It spent 18 months in oak and is deliciously complex with hints of cassis, mushrooms, truffles and mulberries. A fleshy and powerful palette with velvety tannins matches it well with BBQ steak, ribs or lamb.
