The Eguren family, with deep roots in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, has been crafting wines in Rioja for five generations. Guillermo Eguren, the father of current winemakers Marcos and Miguel, refers to himself as a "vine collector." His sons have adopted his biodynamic approach to winemaking, aligning with nature’s cycles to strengthen their connection to the vineyards and the environment.

Sierra Cantabria Rioja Reserva 2015 is full-bodied and well-balanced, with fine-grained tannins and a bright acidity that provides freshness and structure. It is drinking beautifully now, showcasing a harmonious balance of fruit, oak, and acidity, but it also has the potential to age gracefully for another 8-10 years
