Domaine Eric Boigelot is one of Burgundy's hidden gems and their Volnay 1er Cru Santenots is everything you could want from Pinot Noir, and then some!

There's a core of beautifully ripe fruit, mainly black cherries & plums, alongside some woodsy, spicy notes, crushed violets and silky tannins. 2019 is such a magnificent vintage for red Burgundy, and all the majesty and elegance of Volnay is very much on display here.
